Ingredients:
4 cups cooked spaghetti or linguini noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- small pinch salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups Mozza’ & shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced colby-jack cheese
Directions:
- Make a white sauce with flour & butter & gradually whisk in milk, stirring after each addition.
- Simmer on low heat for 7 to 10 minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 2 cups cheese and stir until melted.
- Add 1 cup diced co-jack cheese, but do not melt into the sauce mixture ~ so it will remain a bit chunky after baking. Salt to taste.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Use a large shallow casserole dish or 9 by 15 cake pan
- BAKE 25 minutes, or until heated through. (Makes 6 – 8 servings)
