'Our Future is Here' ~ it's truly quite clear
Our tomorrows are forever near
Sieze the day as I like to say

“Your life is now”

You’ll figure out how

To live a life with joy & zest
It'll be allright to
Forget about the rest
‘Don’t Worry ~ &  Be Happy’

~ Time ~
Time surely does fly year after year
Our ‘Bucket List’ should be written well & quite clear
At first time passes slowly ~ & then very fast
Memories are to be cherished regarding the past
Since some we remember
 but some just don’t last
Our past is within our Hearts and our Souls
Some of us stay young at heart
Then we never grow old
The Spirit Within should be your Best Friend
It will be with you until the very end
Take a moment to reflect on all your past yearWith emotion and thoughts that may bring on tears
Our past will live on as our 'Footprint in Time'
We can reflect on these memories in moments’ sublime
Certainly we will change year by year
At times our memories are not too very clear,
 Alas' regarding our past
Everything was simple it seemed
So simple ~ quite like 'Cookies and Cream'
Back then… Or so we thought
Regarding our future, we needed but dream
Now, look at your life and see what it's brought
Childhood certainly was grand
We now understand
Our parents were there, close by our side
We looked to them with love and pride
Our town was safe then & we could play free
Love brought on warmth of our family
Our hearts were filled with love & trust
We would always beware & obey
Since it was a given ~ a must
It was a blissful time in fantasy land
Fairy tales, snails & puppy dog tails
Childhood dreams & fantasies
Weave in and out our memories
I was the one who climbed the big trees
I ran through fields in grass to my knees
My sister mastered the Tiddily Winks
We all enjoyed the ice skating rink
50's T.V.
Our first television was black and white back then
The first one blew up to our family's chagrin
My brother was the cutest boy on the block
We played with him & made the house rock
I spilled my Moms’ French perfume
It saturated her bed in the master bedroom
There was a fascinating glorious world to explore
We would frolic and play, such fun ~ galore
Our days were filled with joyful bliss
This for me was ~ 'A Fond Living Myth'
Nothing can ever take that from me
I had a childhood filled with wonder & glee
